I was such a Bad Bad Mommy
Good Morning all!
I was scrapping a layout yesterday that got me to thinking about all the “Events” that happened while my two sons were growing up. Most of them were the normal things that all parents look back on with a smile. Like first steps, first birthdays, holidays, school and so on. I still love remembering all those things and my kids don’t mind to much about me telling little tales about all that to my friends and even the occasional stranger. What they do have fits about, and what I remember most was my obsession with dressing them up every 3 to 6 months and taking them to whatever store the photo guy was at.
They still to this day give me that “How Could You” look every time I even mention it and God forbid I dig out the prize photos. The mere mention of some of the cute little outfits sends these two grown men in to their 5 year old whine voices and pouty faces. Yes, these 30 something men revert back to my baby boys and I love it!!
So I just thought I would give them and you a warning, that I will be doing more layouts with my Favorite photos of my Favorite Subjects and I am going to enjoy every red faced moment. Just remember Dears, Mommy’s just want to have fun too!!

DSP Birthday Fun
Just some of the fun we had at the Digital Scrapbook Place 6th Birthday Party Chats, that ran for 24 hours. No, I wasn’t there for the full 24 hours, but for the few hours I was, I had a blast and learned so much! Plus as a super bonus got a bunch of Freebies! I love going to a Birthday Party where “They” give the gifts!

Spring is Coming!!
Yes, Spring is coming, I can feel it! Even the rain is brighter, if that is possible. Just a tiny bit of bright sunshine each day is such a big boost for me. I am one of those that should just hibernate during the winter. It would be safer for me and everyone around me. I am not a pleasant person to be around when I sink in to my deep dark depression. Even I don’t like myself. You know it’s bad when even the cats hiss when they see me coming.
Just a bit of sunshine, some yard work and thoughts of flower beds and gardens is enough to snap me out of it though. We were able to mow the lawn and clean up our tiny backyard last weekend, so I am happy and the cats love me again.
This coming weekend, we are going to do those upside down tomato plants. We have been wanting to give it a try for a couple years now, and now that we actually have a backyard we can call our own, we are going to do it. I know, sounds a bit silly that something so simple could make someone so excited and happy, but I have never been the typical “someone”.
I did do some scrapping during February. They had a wonderfully fun contest at Digital Scrapbook Place called the Trendsetter. All their contests and challenges are fun. You get free kits to work with and to me, that’s like winning right off the bat!
