Still Working on my ABC Book

Gis for Giggle

Walking with Daddy
Walking with Daddy
Walk a little slower, Daddy,
Said a child so small.
I’m following in your footsteps
And I do not want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they’re hard to see.
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I am all grown up,
You’re what I want to be.
Then I will have a little child
Who’ll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just so
And know that I was true.
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you.

Catching Up? (not going to happen)
I am one of those that fit the saying “One track mind” to a T. I am not a multi-tasker in any way shape or form. I have to focus or I will forget. I write myself notes constantly, but tend to lose them. I can walk from one room to another and forget why. Yes, I am one of those that can not walk and chew gum. For me, the train of thought left yesterday while I was waiting for the ferry.
I have learned to live with it, and my darling, ever forgiving hubby, has also learned to live with it. He knows my “Oh hell what was I doing” look, and the “Ok I am lost” stance. He just talks till I remember and makes sure I don’t wander to far.
I would love to blame it on old age, but I have always been this way. Even as a kid my mind would wander and I would totally forget what, when, where and why. Easily distracted, very mellow and very much a loner.
Anyway, getting back to at hand. I am trying to catch up. I know it will never happen, but, I enjoy the challenge. Here are the layouts I have done this week.

My Tough Little Girls
These are my Darling Grand Daughters, Holly, Taylor and Natalie. Arn’t they just beautiful?

Sometimes
This is another Darling Grand Daughter, Makayla.

Merry Christmas from 1957
This is Brians family gather at Christmas in 1957.
Well, that’s all for today. Now I am just a bit closer to the “not going to happen” goal.
